Privacy policy
Updated October 1, 2026
This policy covers SEAL's website and app.
Your account. SEAL stores encrypted account data and preferences in your browser. Blockchain transactions are public and cannot be erased.
Google Drive backup. With your permission, SEAL reads and writes its own hidden app-data folder in your Google Drive solely to back up and restore your account. Backups include account keys, private notes, margin account keys, contacts and history, encrypted in your browser before upload. Wallet-based recovery requires the original compatible wallet. Google-backed accounts require the recovery password or a previously linked wallet; Google sign-in alone cannot decrypt the backup. Google access tokens stay in browser memory. SEAL does not store these backups on its servers or sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it beyond providing this backup feature. Our Google API use follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Your choices. Backups remain in Drive until you delete SEAL's hidden app data under Drive Settings → Manage apps. Turn off backup in SEAL or revoke Google access to stop future access; this does not delete existing backups. Clear your browser's site data to remove local account data.
Website operation. We use Vercel hosting and page-view analytics. Analytics URLs exclude query strings and fragments. Hosting, Google and blockchain service providers may process IP addresses and browser or request information to operate their services, under their own policies.
